I hope there is a group to consider points values in detail when the dust has settled on 1.1 a little. In the meantime I am thinking there must be a simple fix to the cost of vehicle skill. At the moment trained costs 1, seasoned 3 and veteran 5 regardless of whether the vehicle is a scout sized specialist or assault sized tanks. At the moment I am running all my vehicles as skill 4 as 2 points difference is just not realistic to increase the stat. Eg my heavy tank build costs 51 pts with skill 4. It is surely worth less than 49 pts at skill 3 and more than 53 pts at skill 5. My initial thoughts are this. Point up a vehicle at skill 4 and modify by the following for a point of skill up or down. Vehicle value 10 or under adjust by 1 10-19 3 20-29 5 30-39 7 40-49 9 50-59 11 and so on. Some percentage of this would apply for a 2 point shift.
Probably an easier way to get the same effect. Anybody any thoughts on how to make the cost of vehicle skill more relevant? I would like to be able to field vehicles with a range of skill stats and a points value that accurately reflects the difference in their viability.

As Vehicle crews can Survive the destruction of the Vehicle Why not Pay for them as Grunt squads I have Posted Stats for bailed out Crews at the link at the bottom. Have the Number of Crew determined by the Vehicle Class & size. This will definitely make Vehicle Skill cost very by Class & Size. Possibly allow an extra weapon to be fired at a Simple -1 for ever other Crew Member Starting at 3 Vehicle Crew. Possibly even going as far to let a vehicle fire 1 Weapon even at Double Speed with a -3 to hit for every other crew member Starting at 2 Vehicle crew. What is the use of being allowed Multiple Weapons Mounts for the Larger Vehicles if you are only allowed to fire a max of 2 weapons each Turn.
