With 1.1 out now, I figured that we should have a thread around which of the many 15mm model producers you like, where they're located, and what you like about them. So for me: Khurasan Miniatures (USA) khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/Great variety, cool sculpts and good prices. He lets you know the status of the product you ordered (if there are delays and stuff) so you sit there wondering what happened to your minis. Reaper Miniatures (USA) www.Reapermini.comTheir CAV line (and Robot Supply Depot) are great for mecha, though they vary in size I found that anything around $11-$14 work great for Heavy-sized mecha.

I really like both of those, but If I had to choose i'd say Ground Zero Games shop.groundzerogames.net/Such a great variety, and incredible customer service. His vehicles are great too.

I agree with Rune Caster on Khurasan. The variety of Human Factions he makes as well as his Alien races is beautiful. Most of the Lines Start out with a wide variety of poses making less work for me when I repose them to increase the variety. In addition he is located in the U.S. So I don't have to calculate the exchange rate (easier to budget in orders). The Majority of my forces are from Khurasan. Khurasan Miniatures (USA) khurasanminiatures.tripod.com/For Vehicles If we are talking Models Specifically made for Gaming It has to be Combat Wombat. Scott at Combat Wombat has always been really Quick getting back to me when I place an Order & Keeps you informed of the status of the Order. The 1 Time my order was delayed he let me Know what was happening I let him Know I was not worried about the delay & It was no big deal. He didn't have to send me anything Extra, but he did. In addition to my Order I received an extra $9.00 Tank that hadn't been released at the Time, Some extra building, terrain and accessories worth at least $12.00, & around $5.00 or $6.00 in extra barrels. The Delay wasn't even his fault as one of his molds Died & had to be remade. In addition to his Exceptional Customer Service I really like his models & he has 1 Arny Pack for $60.00 with 11 Vehicle (including 3 Tanks 6 IFVs 2 Recce 1 with an ATGM Turret) & most of the models can be purchased in 3s giving you a discount. Combat Wombat combatwombatminiatures.com/I have also had a lot of luck with Board Games for 15mm Figure & use a large variety of Rocco Mini Tanks as the are 1/87 scale the work really well with 15mm figs & various other Plastic & Die Cast Models

Well for 15mm SF I have a standard answer.... All of them.
As I don't buy armies the bigger the number of selections the better it is for me.

Well I am biased and I have to say Critical Mass Games because they produce the Gruntz official Imperator!
However I must say I actually have equal collections from GZG, CMG and Khurasan. Khurasan scores lowest on the list simply because their company name was difficult to learn to spell without first thinking about it. Khurasan was a Jewish province in NE Persia and I am sure it has some historical battle or importance which is why they used it as the company name but I can't naturally spell it without first thinking about it.
In all seriousness though they all produce great stuff, many of them using the same sculptors and 3d designers. I do actually have a great love of the GZG models though, because the vehicles are heavy metal and look mean. Khurasan do the great alien ranges and CMG have some great walkers. They are the three key players and have extensive stuff. They also all have some bum models or just figures that don't work for me but I am sure other people love the stuff I don't.
I think where GZG suffer is in exposure because they have so much good stuff that people can't see easily on the web site.
Now you have me thinking of raising another Khurasan order! Must resist and get my current projects finished!

Just got an order from Quick Reaction Force. Not that much sci-fi of interest to me but I must say their large Alien Bipeds are perfect for Aliens from the Alien films. Nicely detailed and a good size.

I've only purchased from Rebel Minis and Khurasan, but I'm happy with the products I've bought from both.

Unfortunately I have a terrible addiction problem and I like everything from everywhere!
That said, most of my collection is GZG or Khurasan or Combat Wombat, with various odds and ends picked up from other sources.

I don't know much about micropanzer, but I too have a huge collection of 15mm minis from Khurasan, Critical Mass Games (CMG) and Rebel Minis, whcih are my favourite three due to the detail and variety fo miniature sets. The fact that CMG has building sets also got my attention.
I have also collected a bunch of the Star Wars Micro Machines as some of them are very close to 15mm.

I got some facebook posts from this company: www.martianfront.com/looks like it will be pretty fun, and their human stuff seems more realistic to early tank/mobile artillery design
