Hey up
I'm fairly new to Gruntz and I'm looking for ideas to represent drop pods in the game. I was wondering if anyone had already thought of a good way of doing this with the unit builders as is or even developed their own that I could either pinch or bastardize.
Thanks in advance!

Well you could use the 40K drop pods. They are nicely made and with some additional bits and pieces could work as mecha drop pods or even troop ones. They look big but could represent a pod for perhaps squads totalling around 20 troops. I have a couple I was thinking of converting.

That's not a bad idea Robin, I was thinking of picking up one of the Tau support vehicles and converting it to scale well with my 15mm figures... I'll pick up a drop pod at the same time.

Yes and the drop pods are much smaller than they look on the box art and on the GW site. I was actually surprised how small they are for 28mm. They look like they can only handle about 6 28mm troops inside.
