Looking for a model: Crusty Aliens drop ship

I'm searching for a model to use as a drop ship transport for GZG Crusty aliens.

I'd like it to look like the dropship from District 9 somewhat

All I can really think of right now is taking a tau pirhana and closing the top off, which would be ok I guess



I have already decided to use the Khurasan robot gunship as a crusty alien hover tank, so i hope they scale well!

but, has anyone seen any good models that are closer to the district 9 artwork?

If you have the cash to splash - I have one of these in transit and had been waiting for its release since last year. It is 1/100th scale.

Darn that looks really appropriate but i would want three, that would be out of reasonable expenditure!

It may be a bit big for an 8 seater at 19cm long though would have to think about it. Maybe a prawn power armour large transport though!

I'm thinking about the same idea, i'm collecting bits for a scratch build, however I don't know what your budget is, but i'm really tempted by this, ok I know it's star Wars Clone Wars, but it's starting to grow on me.
