Thanks Comstar, I made the British better at shooting (with a 4 for shoot), but the Prussians are better at Assault (with a 4 for Assault). My thought was that these were the basic raw recruits, and had planned for Veterans to have both higher shoot and Assault, If I put up the green troops up, will that make the Veterans to powerful when they are designed? Just wondering.
The Background for the alternate world is slowly being written (among other things), vehicles are happening slowly too and I think that the Gruntz (even though they are sci-fi) can work perfectly for this setting.

With H2H there are no modifiers for hitting but for shooting there are lots, hense the raise to 5. I would say a trained troop would be shoot 5. A troop just through base camp would be a 4. Veterans would be a 6. Then your elite trooper is 7. You need a base of 8 on 2xD6 to hit your guard of 12. Go prone, long range and cover you would not hit anything at all! I know the frustration to hit standard trooper let alone anything with guard 14 Just want the game to be fun for you
