Just checked my copy and I have the same problem, starting from p119 the text is too close to the binding. I probably will disassemble the book and put the pages in plastic sleeves and in a binder. ... Just had a very quick flick thru & I've noticed that some of the background pages (119 onwards) have the print a bit close to the binding & some of the text cann't be made out. ...

Message to everyone: If you have actual printing errors, please let me see photo evidence and I will report it to Wargames vault for action. Thanks

I have the same binding problem that others have commented upon. Doesn't bother me so much as I was intending to use my own background. But it is an issue which would be good to clear up for future prints.

Got mine this morning with exactly the same error as above. I will be playing off a print of the PDF so I don't need anything done but I thought I should report it.

Much of the book has pages which are readable but only just. And then from p119 onwards the binding causes problems.
Robin - just for future developments, I think that part of the problem is that the whole book has very narrow margin formats. There really isn't a great deal of room available for binding before errors occur.
Obviously though there is something specific going on since all of the people reporting an issue are mentioning p119 onwards.
But for future publications of Gruntz, would it be at all possible to widen the margins? Even if it increased the page count and increased the price a little, I'd be happy to pay a bit extra.

I just noticed I have the same problem with my copy. Pg 119 and onward are exactly as pictured above. The quality of the printed book is good enough for me, I certainly wasn't expecting a book on the lines of a GW codex or FoW Army book. I did miss the list of backers being printed in the book. I was looking forward to seeing my name in print

The Gruntz v1.1 pdf file has similar margin errors. The page orientation is also different, the book has even numbered pages on the left and the pdf has even numbered pages on the right. This is not an actual problem/error, just an observation.

The tricky thing here is that I used an adjusted template from Wargames Vault because mine was not suitable for the print on demand process. I think it is still readable but a shame I did not spot how close to the margin it was in my proof and that the process did not alert me to having too narrow a margin. Being new to these things I was spending my time checking the print copy, rather than margins.

My copy has the same issues that others have noted. I'm not too bothered...as Robin says, it's still readable and ease of page flipping is my main reason for buying the hard copy.
My main gripe is with the two or three important errors in the text (SA builder, fighter weapons, SA projectile and laser points).
Generally happy with the product though and, having seen my book, my friends will likely purchase copies once the errors are fixed.

My copy arrived today in Scotland. Same problem as everybody else from page 119 onwards. I'm not worried though its still perfectly readable.
Robin will you be starting a new thread with the errata or doing a PDF download once you gather enough info.
You could possibly do a living PDF that comprises errata as its found plus additions from sanctioned optional house rules that readers submit.
Cheers
