Closer shot of the Feds. Beret guy is a head swap from a GZG head sprue that I have been using as my Commander. Sometimes he wrecks face. Other times he spends the game running back and forth in a cornfield removing suppression from squads... Attachments:

One of the UNSC squads. After I paint and varnish the figs, I have been going back on the visors with some Future Floor Wax to give them a nice shine. Really makes them look sharp on the table. Attachments:

And the specialist teams. The spider drones originally had twin guns. I felt like they needed a bit more 'ooomph', so twin rotary cannons it is. The rotary cannons were each made with six small pieces of plastic rod, with a seventh one that was a touch longer. Obviously I am a glutton for punishment as I am looking at three more on my painting desk right now, complete with their own rotary cannons. Hopefully they will be this weekend's diversion. Wow! Those are awesome! I am going to be using a similar scheme for my Khurasan Feds force. It's nice to see that what I had in my head will work out on the model.
That is a very cohesive force, and looks great on the table you have there. I'd also love to see more of that terrain, and any tutorials you may have for it's construction.
My plans are to make a set of arid planet terrain for my Gruntz gaming, and would love to see more inspiration like that!

Any chance to see more photos of your terrain? Unfortunately, that isn't my terrain. I am still waiting for my Zuzzy mat to arrive, so I had to shoot those pics on a buddy's set-up. If I get a chance, I'll shoot some of just the board when I get a chance.
