Super stuff mate. I'm in the middle of knocking some stuff together myself and these are great inspiration.
What are you using for the doors???

The doors were made from the lids of milk cartons which I cut down to size for 15mm.

The top deck was made of 3mm foam core , the blacktop is fine grain sandpaper. The lines were done with typ-ex and a sharpy. The little red lights are .144 bullets for an air rifle. The lower deck was made of two layers of mounting board with a foam core spacer glued to the middle to add more support for the springs.

Cracking stuff, always impressed to see what ingenious minds can MacGuyver Out of ordinary household items. Suppose it's why I am a fan of the Anarchists Cookbooks.

Finally got around to painting my spaceport buildings yesterday. Haven't decided yet if I'm gonna grunge them up a bit or leave them squeaky clean. My wife said she thinks the windows look like there's water inside. I told her she was right and that the only way to salvage these buildings now would be to buy an army of aquatic aliens to live in them. She agreed completely and I suddenly remembered why I married the girl.

Nice work. I like the retro look, it reminds me of flash gorden.

I didn't really mean for them to have any distinct retro look, but now that you mention it... I just might try putting together a Flash Gorden themed army, anybody know of any good winged scifi gruntz? comstar: the roads were done just like the landing pad, fine grain sandpaper (already black) glued to mounting board with Typp-ex correction tape for the white lines.
