Unreliable?
Basically put in rules that the vehicle can break. Its weapons systems lose accuracy or stop working all together. Its movement slows or stops.
Basically to show that some groups can't afford regular maintenance or some vehicle designs simply suck or are built to poor standards.

Unruly
Squad is untrained rabble, got bloodlust, or animal like and can't manage the discipline to adopt a prepared fire position. Unit with this negative perk cannot go prone.

How about a mod for artillery allowing units within a certain distance of each other to combine their attacks like the rules for grenades, call it "Time On Target"?

I think I now have a Mod for a Mecha (Dragon) which is terror.
Terror costs an action. Gruntz near it have to make a condition brown test even if they are at full strength. The range should be dependent on size of the Mecha / Dragon so possibly 2 for scout 10 for Assault and 2 for different sizes. I was thinking it is a one shot weapon say 5 points.
What do you guys think?

Oh I see what you mean if you had multiple Mecha / Dragons it would become a bit silly. The reasoning behind the one shot is it's very like the wave particle decimator but just seen that's only 3 points and range 8! And is 8+2D6 damage against infantry!

Well I see what you mean about multiple models but my thinking was in terms of traditional dragons and constantly projecting an aura of fear...In fiction once you got close enough you were wracked w/ terror but once you overcame it you were good. So if I was swooping down in my VTOL and disembark when I get close I have to make sure to keep my nerve regardless of what my buddy Sam's squad did.

Yeah ok I see an Aura that would be a bit different But if Sam's squad may not be terrified by the Red Dragon but when the Black Dragon fly down and eats Sam his squad may think that not all Dragons are the same! I think having it as an Aura makes it give them an extra attack (even out of turn) so even if it not a one shot you may still have to limit it to an action but will have AE effect more than an Aura. I suppose it could be a one action to do the condition brown affect but if anything assaulting it it must pass a mental check to complete its assault attack or become suppressed. So it would not affect anything without a mental stat so having a Mecha charge a Dragon would be bad news for the Dragon. This now reminds me of the Advert for Battletech CCG with a whole load of fantasy creatures including a Dragon cowering as a Madcat was turning towards them with the title "Tap This!"... Now that is Terror! (dam my Google foo is weak i cant find that image anywhere!)

Thanks for all these ideas. Many of them will go into the new perkz table. I think where there are similarities like the Automaton vs Fanatics, I will keep them as one but perhaps explain that it can be applied to robotic types or fanatical maniacs.

Bloodthirsty - If a unit is in range to close assault it must do so on it's turn. Think beasty, teethy, insect aliens.

Enhanced senses: 2 points. Increases range by +2(or 3) inches for spotting hiding or cloaked/camo figures.
Useful for scout units, specialists or to stat out squads that might have higher technology.
I was planning on using it to stat up the Khurasan Federal K9 team to make them useful.
