The experimental use of harnessed Space Demons in battle was a double edged sword. On the one hand, the demons had fought well, on the other, their leader's collar had been destroyed in battle and several demons got loose once he stopped sending them orders.
The experiment had been overseen by Dr Hott who watched the fighting from just a couple of miles away. Now Hott had to leave the world with the data and observations she had made. Unfortunately, the loose demons stood between her and her shuttle. A platoon of Guardians of the Revolution were tasked to escort her.
The shuttle is at the centre-top of the image:
The inappropriately dressed Dr Hott and her escort:
Space demons surround the shuttle but also send broods forward to engage the (tasty) humans:
A fire team set over watch on the right flank:
Dr Hott is holed up in the building to the left. A brood of demons have quickly rounded the hill to reach her. The brave GoR Commander draws them away from her:
With the other fireteams tied up in the central avenue, Dr Hott is running out of time before her shuttle must leave. Her escort dash forward but are met by a flanking brood of aliens:
The escorts leads Hott to a narrow ridge on the hill where they can screen her from the screeching monsters below:
The ensuing bloodbath does not end well for the GoR. A single trooper remains to escort the Doctor. There is still a brood of demons and their queen between them and the shuttle:
Some sort of spit attack by the queen showers the Doctor but the brave Sergeant pushes her aside and sacrifices himself to the spray. Dr Hott escapes on the shuttle alone...
...or so it seems. Unknown to her, the queen's spray also contained genetic material that now resides in the Doctor. She takes this back to the capital world, Catalonia.
Back on the surface, the remaining humans and aliens fight it out. The alien queen makes for the GoR Commander but is cut down with laser fire:
No matter...she has passed on her genetic material and Redemption City will soon prove to be an excellent breeding ground.
