I have completed the draft of the Errata for 1.1. It is out with some people to review before I post a draft up here for further feedback. So with a fair wind I should have it up on the site for comments in the next few days.

Hello folks!
Well, yesterday I had my first game of Gruntz (a 350pts free for all) and we had a blast.
But lets be honest; the rules are very poorly worded and seem to contradict themselves at some times!
Anyway, some of the questions that appeared, now that I can recall the most impostant is that...
Do vehicles test for suppresion? And if they do, is it with a -1 for every damage point done?

No vehicles do not test for suppression, nor do vehicle specialists as they both do not have a mental stat.

P79. Vehicle assault plasma: based on the progression from light to heavy it seems like the range should be 15 for the assault-class weapon, but it's listed at 12.

Hi Guys,
I bought GRUNTZ last week, after watching it develop since the beta rules... So far it looks quite fun, but I am getting stuck on the force creation process.
Is there any news on this errata? Most of the issue I am getting stuck on seem to be answered in the list on this thread...
Also, is there a location available with links to current Grunts documents (unit cards, existing errata's etc)? I am sure there used to be a "downloads" link on the gruntz website, but can't see it now?

Hi Mo, Did you buy the card generator too (Great deal BTW) or are you using the free one (or perhaps just long-hand)? If you haven't I recommend the 'purchased' version, I think it's $5.
I don't have a link to the latest errata but I'm sure someone can chime in. Do you have a top three (or five) list of issues? Squinch

Hi Squinch,
Thanks for the reply, unfortunatly it only supports Windows and Mac OS, so no good for me :-(.
The main questions I have are:
A. Am I supposed to give squad attatchments a base cost of 3 before adding the weapon cost? The description before the builder says I do, but the example given doesn't.
B. Am I supposed to add 3 points to the cost of weapons with FA? Again this seems a little unclear?

Hi Mo, I did a quick run thru on Barracks. It doesn't charge the 3pt base cost, but it does add the 3pts for a full auto weapon. For example, I built a base squad then selected one SA with a medium laser. It raised the squad cost by 2 (exact cost of weapon). If I select the FA medium laser it raises the cost by 5 (base of 2 plus 3 for FA). Squinch

Hmm, cheers for that. I have started using Gruntomatic for solar reasons and it does the same thing RE points costs for SA. I am still finding that Gruntomatic is producing lower points costs for a squad of gruntz than if I write them up by hand I must be miss reading something!

P. 96 - "What happens when my commander dies?" The rule states that "All friendly units are now permanently at -2 to the roll for all Mental tests."
I believe that the rule should state "...+2 penalty to the roll..." or "...-2 to their Mental stat."
