I have a force I am building as an armored Company with Supporting Elements. These elements include Infantry & Air Support which are not a problem using the Standard rules. The only problem I am Having is figuring out Rules for the Company Commander. As this is an Armored force the commander should be mounted in one of the Tanks as the Company Command Tank. I am thinking of just purchasing the commander & mounting him in a Tank with Command Tek & if the tank is destroyed just testing as if it was a transport for the commanders survival. If anyone has a better idea on how this can be accomplished please let me Know.

Try having the vehicle at +5 points, and giving it a custom Perk along the lines of ...
Command Vehicle 5pt This vehicle has a series of special broadcast devices that allow this vehicle to better help the army general by allowing him to command his forces at a greater distance. If this tank is transporting your army commander, you may choose to activate your commander inside the vehicle to use any of his commander special rules ad double the normal distance, with no line of sight needed. He cannot leave the vehicle on the same turn he activates inside the vehicle.
I wouldn't push anything further because in all regards, it's a standard gruntz tank, that's been modified to better help the commander. If you want a stronger hull, add UberArmor or something there in. You can give it any guns you want to under the size you choose. All it needs is a little tweak to make it feel more powerful. If your tank commander can't leave the tank (IE: the tank IS the commander) buy a commander model with no weapons or anything, and add those points to the tank, or leave the card separate and if the tank dies kill the commander. Easy as pie.

Thanks Rune Caster I will try it out over the next few games. The only thing I may Change is give the Commander a Chance to Survive the destruction of the Vehicle. I'll do a single Bail Out test for the Crew & the Commander as Page 35 of the Main Rules & if the Survive they become his Command Squad. As I require all Commanders to have a Attached Squad of troops. I will try the Perk as Part of the Commander & as Part of the vehicle & let you know how it works both ways. My vehicle crews are armed with the appropriate pistols for the faction when they survive Bailing out of a destroyed vehicle. I have posted a list of the crew sizes based on vehicle size & class & how I have been stating them in my other post Vehicle Crews & Bailing out gruntz15.proboards.com/index.cgi?action=display&board=ps&thread=1063

Thats all and good, and frankly, what i expected you to do. The other option is just that, an option. Maybe someone with a robot army could utilize it. Best of luck in battle!
